SCOTT PUNISHER 95 REVIEW — 2017
Back in Scott’s lineup for its second year, the Punisher 95 was celebrated by our testers as a versatile all-mountain tool, highly capable in choppy, soft snow and on hardpack, too. The common thread in our testers’ comments was nimbleness, through crud, moguls, trees or groomers. “You can’t say a bad thing about it,” said one. A large shovel and tip and tail rocker inspire its playful nature. A full poplar wood core and sandwich sidewall construction yield stellar power transmission, making its carving aptitude another oft called-out trait. “What an epic frontside ripper,” gushed a second tester. “Scott should’ve called it the ’Gordon Ramsay’ because this thing carves for days.”
