Flexcell, is a soft elastomer foam that stiffens upon impact to evenly absorb and diffuse force across a large area. When Flexcell is worn on the back, the foam adheres to the shape of the body, extending down to the tailbone, while small holes allow for breathability. The padding lives inside a zippered compartment on the fabric vest and can be removed for washing.
