The three-antenna ELEMENT Barryvox utilizes a slider on top to enter search mode. Once a signal is picked up within the 60-meter range, a digital, five-point arrow aims you in the right direction while displaying a corresponding distance. If you stray off course, the beacon changes tones to alert you, and if you go in the opposite direction, it displays a graphic urging you to turn around. Once you locate the victim, you can mark off that signal by pushing the side button and begin searching for other burials.
