Speaking to the Collective 105’s do-everything character, one tester noted that it’s “hard to find a ski that’s more versatile.” The ski features tip and tail rocker to provide float and agility with traditional camber underfoot. Head utilizes what it calls a tip and tail stabilizer—an elastic polymer that follows the rocker profile—to combat any tip chatter. With the exoskeleton in place, Head is then able to reduce unnecessary core materials, translating to a lower swing weight. The Collective 105 is at home no matter where you go on the mountain, from the tightest of trees to wide-open bowls to the terrain park, if you so choose.
