Atomic Automatic 109 Skis – 2016

100 – 114 MM Freeride Ranking: #03

After the successful expansion of the Automatic line last year, the Atomic Automatic 109 Skis come back unchanged for 2015-16. Testers loved this “crud busting, high-speed charger.” An early rise tip combined with a stiff, rockered tail and plenty of camber underfoot creates a ski meant for
the most aggressive mountain attackers. While it boasts a “chargy” nature, the lightweight poplar core helps this ski walk the line between inbounds and out-of-bounds performance. One individual went so far as to call it “the ideal all-mountain twin.” Those looking to drive through
turns in steep and variable terrain and come back looking for more, take note.
