While some all-mountain skis take a do-everything-okay approach, the Blizzard Bonafide is more polarized. It might not be the vanilla all-rounder that some crave, but what the Bonafide does well is carve stably. Bolstered by a generous sidecut, the Bonafide was likened by one tester to “a knifing machine.” While railing down the mountain is clearly the Bonafide’s strong suit, the ski also features considerable tip width and tip and tail rocker with underfoot camber (dubbed Flipcore Technology), which make it a handy tool in powder or crud. If you’re looking to play on the side of the run all day, look elsewhere, but if you want to charge hard and make a statement, then pick up some Bonafides.
