Three-layer, breathable and waterproof shells still reign supreme in the minds of our FREESKIER audience and layering is a key component to a comfortable day outdoors. Along with highly breathable, waterproof, performance-minded apparel, sustainability is a trend that is also gaining more momentum: Brands and consumers, alike, are willing to shell out a bit more money to create and purchase products they believe are friendlier to the environment. Here, we’ve rounded up the best new outerwear, midlayers and baselayers going on sale next year.
