This article is part of The Showroom—a curated selection of gear presented by some of FREESKIER’s favorite brand partners. Here is a closer look at the latest from Icelantic.
Saba Pro 107 — $849
The Saba, unlike other pro models, was designed as a collaborative effort with all of Icelantic’s athletes from around the world. They took on creative control with the shape, flex, artwork and construction. They designed a stiff reflective rocker profile that would make the ski playful and surfy while skiing flat, yet still allow the skier to engage the entire edge and power through turns when needed.
Nomad 105 – $849
The award-winning Nomad 105 is Icelantic’s flagship model, best-selling ski and the foundation of the Nomad Freeride Collection. A 105-mm platform and Bombproof Construction allow for great floatation and stability all over the mountain. Its poplar power core construction makes the collection more stable and versatile—allowing you to effortlessly play all over the mountain.
Pioneer 96 – $779
The Pioneer 96 returns for the 2022-23 season, maintaining the modern tip taper of the Pioneer collection of last season, with a flatter tail for more power and an aesthetic truer to it’s directional nature. The Pioneer 96 is Icelantic’s true one-ski-quiver, with the versatility needed to excel in any condition the mountain has to offer
Nia Pro 105 – $849
The Nia, unlike other pro models, was designed as a collaborative effort with all of Icelantic’s athletes from around the world. They took on creative control with the shape, flex, construction and topsheet artwork that is sure to turn heads in the lift line. They designed a stiff reflective rocker profile that would make the ski playful and surfy while skiing flat, yet still allow the skier to engage the entire edge and power through turns when needed.
Maiden 101 – $849
Combining design elements from Icelantic’s top selling Nomad and the intuitive Poplar Power Core, the award-winning Maiden 101 is the ultimate women’s-specific freeride ski. A rockered tip and tail, along with 2 mm of camber underfoot, allows the Maiden 101 to excel when slashing in powder while still able to be rolled on-edge.
Riveter 95 – $779
For the 22/23 season Icelantic has maintained the modified shape of the Riveter 95 of last season, with reduced splay in the tail while maintaining the same amount of rocker from the tail to contact point. At 95 mm underfoot, the Riveter 95 is an excellent choice for the whole mountain and provides stability whether in the trees, bumps or groomers.
