Rock your head to this skateboarding-inspired season edit

When it came time for Jacob Boyd to sit down and create his 2015-16 season edit after months of shredding pow, it wasn’t skiing that inspired him. Instead, it was skateboarding. “I used (almost) no slow motion or filler and no GoPro footage,” he says. “No Bullsh#t.”

Set to the sounds of Iron Maiden and filled with raw, impressive, Canadian backcountry skiing, Boyd did a fine job with this project from start to finish. Let it serve as a reminder that skiing will never get dull and inspiration can always be found in unconventional places.
