This new short from Fabio Studer feat. mega-rad angles and daydream-like snow

Fabio Studer skied his way to a third-place-overall finish on the Freeride World Tour this season. Before the competitions began, he spent time in Austria and British Columbia, working to bag shots for the edit displayed here. Along with filmmaker Daniel Schiessl, it was Studer’s mission to capture unique angles of backcountry skiing. In his words, he sought “no normal angle from far away, no point of view, no selfie, something different.” Indeed, the duo captured skiing through mighty radical angles, via drone, et al. The unique beats don’t hurt the overall feel of this one, either. Bust out the headphones, set ‘er full screen and go ahead and tune out for a few.
