Gus Kenworthy drops part one of his 2013 season edit, “Fly”

January 4th, 2014 by

Mr. Kenworthy has just released part one of his 2013 season edit, “Fly.” Filmed and edited by Robin Macdonald and George Knowles, the video features clips shot on location at Flachauwinkl, Austria; Durango, CO; Telluride, CO and Whistler, BC. Gus kicks off the reel with some smooth pow jumps, transitions into a couple of fun jib sessions and caps ‘er off with some technical rail stunts; his misty-off at the 2:41 mark is especially impressive.

Given Kenworthy’s reputation as a strong competition skier, it’s certainly fun to watch him outside of the contest arena. Though, upon finding this video in my inbox I must admit I was expecting to see some rad dub corks into pow. We’ll see what part two has in store… Gus told us today, it’ll “probably be dropping sometime next week.”
