The Working for the Weekend episode captures three experienced skiers in Quebec’s Chic Choc mountains who assessed the snowpack and made a detailed plan, but got caught in an unfortunate situation—triggering a massive slide. Fortunately, with the exception of one minor leg injury, the crew made it out safely—humbled by the close-call situation.
Skiers: No matter where you are, let this video serve as yet another reminder that the backcountry is incredibly dangerous. Know before you go and always have a plan.
