Bobby Brown gets back to the basics at Breckenridge in “State of Grace”

Bobby Brown has been one of the most popular faces in freeskiing since taking first place in Dew Tour slopestyle way back in 2008. Since then, Brown has gone on to win X Games gold medals, star in segments with Matchstick Productions and Poor Boyz and make an appearance in the debut of slopestyle skiing at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, among other accolades.

In regards to Brown’s 2013-14 ski season, Red Bull Media House writes, “After dedicating his life to competition for the past year-and-a-half, Bobby struggled with where he was heading with his career. The qualifying process for the US Ski Team took a toll on him and his skiing. After a frustrating performance in Russia, Bobby was ready to get back to doing what he loves most.” So, in May of 2014, Brown sessioned a private jump at his home resort of Breckenridge, getting back to basics and reminding himself why he loves skiing.
