Vail Mountain recently received a new blanket of snow for the 2014-15 winter. The resort plans to make its season debut on Friday, November 21. Get the boards ready, Coloradans, Jack Frost is here to stay.

Vail, Colorado – New snow blankets Vail Mountain, one of the largest ski resorts in the world, overnight and snowmaking efforts continue along with the countdown to opening day, Friday, November 21, 2014. With the start of the new month at Vail, snowmaking is now taking place on the main mountain, in addition to Golden Peak, in preparation for the resort’s opening in less than one month.
