Norway’s Sweet Protection launches into US Market for fall 2015

Sweet Protection, a Norwegian-based helmet and technical apparel brand, has announced that it will be introducing its complete line of products in the United States for fall/winter 2015. Sweet Protection are the dudes (and/or dudettes) piecing together protective outerwear and helmets to help protect the domes of athletes like Jesper Tjäder, Aleks Aurdal and Thomas Hlawitschka. The brand utilizes carbon fiber and MIPS in its helmets for high-level cranial protection in a lightweight product. In its line of apparel, Sweet Protection has incorporated Gore-Tex membranes as well as PrimaLoft insulation to build top-notch apparel that looks good and protects its wearer from the elements.

The company will begin United States operations with the opening of its Boulder, Colorado headquarters in the spring of 2015.

Sweet Protection’s helmets incorporate carbon fiber for superior strength to weight ratios and the MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) to help prevent head injury. Their apparel line incorporates high performance GoreTex Pro waterproof / breathable membranes and PrimaLoft Gold insulation.

Sweet Protection will be opening their US headquarters in Colorado during the spring of 2015.
