Jen Hudak sets out to complete 75 mile race while raising money for the Sarah Burke Foundation

Following a season ending knee injury last season, Jen Hudak will be competing in the Park City Point to Point bike race on August 30. Throughout the 75 mile challenge, covering more than 12,000 vertical feet, Hudak will be raising money for the Sarah Burke Foundation while furthering the rehabilitation process for her knee.

“After tearing my ACL last December I wanted to see what I could accomplish on a bike in nine short months. I believe strongly in leading by example and though this race seemed like the perfect challenge, I wanted it to mean even more,” Claims Hudak in an email exchange regarding the event.

The famed female freestyler has created a fundraising page in an effort to raise enough money to offer an athlete a grant through the Sarah Burke Foundation, totaling $7,500. It’s very badass of Jen Hudak to bounce back from her knee injury so quickly, let alone raise a significant amount of money for the past and future of our sport.
