Dragon unveils its Lumalens color optimizing goggle technology

For those of you who are loyal Dragon supporters (and why wouldn’t you be, given the brand’s bevy of top-notch optical products?), your favorite brand just unveiled a lens technology that’ll give you one more reason to continue donning its goggles. The innovation, dubbed Lumalens, optimizes color and contrast over the entire light spectrum. The result is supreme optical clarity in any and all mountain weather conditions.

Dragon introduces Lumalens:

Chris Benchetler is absolutely smitten with the lens technology, stating, “I go with Lumalens for increased performance in all the varied conditions I encounter. Whether it’s sunny, flat light or snowing, they get the job done.” And that’s saying something, considering the Mammoth, California based skier travels across the globe in search of deep pow, facing off against a wide variety of light conditions.

Lumalens is now available in Dragon’s NFX2 (a 2017 FREESKIER Editors’ Pick), X2, X2s, X1, X1s and Rogue models, with two distinct lens tint options—Flash Blue (47 percent visible light transmission) and Flash Green (25 percent visible light transmission).
