High Alpine Holidays, Dec. 5, 12, 19
The holidays come to the Village at Copper, with our tree lighting at dusk, carolers, s’mores, photos with Santa and free gift wrap for your Village purchases. Whether you are ultra-prepared or a procrastinator, you can start or finish your holiday shopping in the many unique shops in the Village at Copper.

Coca-Cola Tubing Hill opens on Dec. 4
Just plain fun. Kick off your skis or snowboard, and slide down the mountain in a different way. The Coca-Cola Tubing Hill is located in the East Village at the base of the Super Bee lift. Copper’s Tubing Hill is divided into five lanes, giving each guest the freedom to enjoy the tubing hill at their own pace. Dress warm and be prepared for a blast, we’ll provide the rest. Reservations are highly recommended, as spots fill up fast. Just visit any Guest Services location to “Tube it up.”

Kids’ Christmas Party, Dec. 6
The Copper Mountain Ski Patrol would like to invite all children to a kids Christmas party on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the Conference Center, to join Santa and his elves for cookies and presents. Head-Elf Joe will be there with his Christmas train and village and Santa is set to arrive at 6 p.m. For more information, please contact Ski Patrol at 970.968.2318 ext 66131 or ext 88271. Note to Parents: Please bring one wrapped and labeled gift for Santa to give to your child.

US Snowboard Team Autograph Signing, Dec. 5
Copper will be hosting a free autograph signing with the US Snowboard Team on Sat., Dec. 5, from Noon – 1 p.m., at The Woodward at Copper Cage, located in the Village at Copper, next to West Lake and Imperial Palace, and across from Chubs. This is a free event and a wonderful opportunity to snag an autograph and wish the US Snowboarders well as they prepare for the Grand Prix at Copper, Dec. 10-12, and the Winter Games.

Woodward At Copper Bowl Jam, Tues., Dec. 8
On Tues., Dec. 8 at 5:30 p.m. skateboarders will enjoy a $5 skate bowl jam-format competition in The Barn. Registration and practice start at 5:30 p.m. and the competition begins at 6:30 p.m. Woodward at Copper is the first indoor/outdoor ski and snowboard camp on the planet with a focus on terrain park and pipe progression. The 20,000 sq ft Barn gives campers access to Snowflex® jumps, foam pits, a spring floor, fly-bed trampolines and indoor skateboard features. www.WoodwardatCopper.com

Ski and Ride School Updates
Just a Tip or Two: Learn to Impress – ski and ride during prime time, with a ½ day adult group lesson, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. daily, starting at just $75 for skiers or riders, levels 2 and higher. For more information please visit Guest Services, located in the MAC.

Après Suggestions of the Week
• Salsa Mountain Cantina offers $1 beef or chicken tacos at the bar with the purchase of a beverage from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. daily. Located in Snowbridge Square, Salsa serves authentic Mexican cuisine featuring homemade tamales, rellenos and southwestern specialties. For more information, stop by or call 970.968.6300.

Instead of letting you know what is open on the mountain right now, and mostly because it could change at anytime, here is where you can find this info – power to the people:
• Copper’s friendly Resort Ambassadors (in turquoise jackets with question marks on them) can assist with reading the trail map kiosk in Burning Stones Plaza
• Log onto: m.coppercolorado.com from your mobile phone
• Check the monitors located throughout the resort

Copper Mountain Community Church Worship Services
There are two options on Sundays: the Copper Chapel at 8:30 a.m. and the Mountain Top (at the top of the American Eagle Lift at the Nature Center Site) at 12:30 p.m. Both services are non-denominational. For more information, contact Karen Steinbrink at [email protected].

Coming Soon…USSA Grand Prix, Dec. 10 – 12
Top snowboarders from around the globe will compete in their quest for the title of overall winner during the kickoff to America’s largest competitive snowboarding tour – the U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix and Paul Mitchell Progression Session. The top snowboard athletes will be throwing down in Copper’s new 22’ Superpipe, located right in the heart of the Village at Copper. This year’s competition cannot be missed as athletes vie for coveted Olympic Halfpipe spots that will send them to the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver.
