Swift Silent Deep
Swift Silent Deep is a historical look at Jackson Hole in the mid ’80s to ‘90s. Built in the tradition of Dog Town and Z-Boys, the film follows the formation and subsequent influence of a renegade group of lost boys, the Jackson Hole Airforce. Led by Benny Wilson, the ranks of this group of hard-charging talents included Micah Black, Jason Tattersall, Rick Armstrong and Doug Coombs. The JHAF fl ew the middle finger at authority in a relentless pursuit of powder. The culture born of these skiers was largely responsible for ushering a new era of backcountry access gates across North America. A well-crafted fi lm that is worth seeing for historical perspective on our sport and pure entertainment value.
