The 2009/10 winter ski season is not over! You can still get your shred on at A-Basin for one more week. We took a trip to A-Basin this weekend to suck down some brews (it was their annual brewfest), session some park, grill at the beach and watch some carnage in the glacial-ice-pond that forms every year. We were not disappointed.

The park is still legit with a variable myriad of jib features. Imagine this, you can cross the glacial pond and jib this line every lap. If that doesn’t scream summer skiing we don’t know what does.

We did just that, minus the pond skimming. We had all of this expensive camera gear on us, so we couldn’t risk taking a plunge. But we did hit up the brewfest (as you’d expect). A-Basin had an 80’s cover band crushing it on stage. Nothing beats a little Bon Jovi and IPAs.

So get your ass up there this weekend. It’s your last chance to ski lift serviced terrain in Colorado until October. Think about it. Do it.
