Shred and ICEdot release new helmet, stores medical info in case of emergency

February 8th, 2013 by

Newly partnered, Shred and ICEdot are set to release a new emergency response helmet. This new helmet works as such: ICEdot syncs a secure online profile with a unique PIN per helmet. The PIN can then be text messaged to a designated number and a reply will then be sent back containing important information about the injured person. The user has complete control, determining how much information he or she wants to share in case of an emergency. All of Shred’s emergency helmets will contain ICEdot stickers that will include the PIN that to be used in case of emergency.
