Day three of Freeskier’s 2015 all-mountain ski test from Aspen, CO saw the introduction of next year’s “big-mountain” planks. After a recent snow storm deposited fresh pow across Ajax, today’s conditions were prime for testing said big-mountain skis. The sun was out, along with the guns, and Freeskier’s all-star ski testers were up to the challenge of charging down steep lines, with variable snow abound. While the inevitable daffy and spread eagle were thrown, for the most part our testers were charging down technical, fall line terrain, dropping the occasional cliff, too. Ajax’s 3,267 vertical feet of badass terrain never disappoints.
