Pain McShlonkey Classic returns to Squaw Valley, March 22-25
From shanemcconkey.org: We are proud to announce one of the greatest ski competitions known to man and woman: the Pain McShlonkey Classic at Squaw Valley USA.
This action packed on and off-mountain event will serve as a hilarious tribute to legendary skier Shane McConkey as pros and amateurs battle for the highly coveted Golden Saucer trophy and bragging rights.

McConkey was the mastermind behind the original Pain McShlonkey Open which debuted in 2003 featuring a Switch GS, a Saucer Small Air and the timeless Chinese Downhill. What began as a behind-the-scenes, late-night race between competitors at the 1998 Winter X Games has evolved into a beloved event, attracting athletes from around the world.
2012 Dates
March 22, 2012: Meet and Greet at the new Rocker Bar (time TBD)
March 23, 2012: The infamous Gala. Olympic Village Inn at 7pm.
March 24, 2012: The Pain McSchlonkey!
March 25, 2012: Recover.
