No Bib Jib #2….check.

No Bib Jib #2….check.

The second round of No Bib Jib went off under sunny skies in the snow encrusted (big nor’easter coming) mountains of Maine at Sunday River. The parks crew rebuilt the jib park the night prior and a gap to butterpad to down rail was the result.

A couple new squads showed up and one of them took the #2 spot putting them in good shape for the season crown and a ride to Heat Harvest III. The We Pwn Wood team from Lake Placid showed up on Saturday and slayed the wall ride and totem pole in Rocking Chair then brought some serious team spirit and skills to Jib Park for NBJ.

Their efforts were only topped by The Convicts, which is a local ski/ride team led by Andrew Kahkonen who stomped a rodeo off the up rail to take best trick. He shared that title with Keith Rocheleau from the Channel 4 News Team who landed a rodeo and rodeo 5 over the kink rail. They each walked with K2 hoodies.

Best digger went to David Bracket. He’ll be enjoying a new Bern Helmet, which he will need in his future headfirst landings.

Per usual Operation Joey blew everyone’s mind with their gaper antics and antique outerwear. Shredasaurs stomped everything they saw to take 3rd. Channel 4…took 4th ironically. Ray’s Boom Boom cracked the top 5 for the first time in their tenure.

The Cougars wore pleather and grabbed their chesticles while riding. They publicly chased younger men and eventually caught them.

NBJ 3 is Feb 17. Thanks to Oakley, Bula, K2, DC, and Bern for kicking down the goods.
