Norwegian Olympic freeskiing team announced

The Norwegian Olympic freeskiing team was announced on Tuesday, and will feature a couple of athletes who could take home some hardware next month in Sochi. The team is comprised of five slopestyle skiers and one halfpipe skier.

Men’s Slopestyle

Aleksander Aurdal

Women’s Slopestyle

Tiril Sjåstad Christiansen

Men’s Halfpipe

Jon Anders Lindstad

Slopestyle contender PK Hunder took to Instagram to react, posting a picture (below) with the caption:

“Been skiing and competing with this legend, @andreashatveit for over 10 years now! Here we are yet again, @xgames in Aspen!! And we got the word this morning that we are gonna be battling it out in the Olympics as well :) !!! #beenahellofaride #xgames #legend #olympics #boss #bøss”
