The rats nesting inside Loveland’s snowmaking system got a rude awakening yesterday morning when they fired up the snowguns and blew snow, sending a warning shot to the folks at A-Basin making the race for opening day officially on!
Last season A-Basin was the first to open on October 10th, an honor (not to mention PR bonanza) that the folks at Loveland are trying to claim this season. All we need is some favorable snowmaking weather and the race will be back on.
So, who do you guys think will open first, Loveland or A-Basin?
