In June of this year, Lil Wayne launched TRUKFIT, a skateboard-inspired clothing brand that boasts the tagline, “Whether you ride a skateboard, make music or create art, TRUKFIT outfits your lifestyle.” This month, TRUKFIT unveiled the “Tommy Burke” T-shirt, honoring Sarah Burke. The T-shirt features TRUKFIT’s “Tommy” cartoon character rocking ski gear, and sporting a collection of gold medals around his neck.

Speaking with ESPN following last week’s Dew Tour stop in San Francisco, Wayne said: “I never met Sarah, but I respected her and wanted to honor her. She deserved it. She deserved a whole lot more, but this is what I could do.” Wayne regards Sarah as one of his favorite athletes.

The shirt comes in black and white, and costs $37. Net proceeds from the sale of the T-shirt benefit the Sarah Burke Foundation, which was established to honor Sarah’s legacy and to promote the ideals she valued and embodied. The shirt is currently only available in 2XL and 3XL sizes; for those of you who prefer oversized T’s, you’re in luck. Smaller ladies who want to buy the Tommy Burke might consider using the shirt as slumber party attire.
