Questions:

Why do Germans love David Hasselhoff? I never got that. Can you explain?

I really don´t know. I think the only reason they like him is because of Nightrider and Baywatch.

Right… Anyways, do you eat lots of sauerkraut and bratwurst, and wear lederhosen?

Sauerkraut and bratwurst. I mean we eat that, but really not as often as you think. Also, I know a lot of guys, me included, who wear lederhosen. But, it’s just for special events.

That is awesome. Can you yodel?

[Laughs] No way.

What is your favorite part about Germany?

Defiantly the beer. We really do have the best beer in the world.

Give us a little background on yourself. How did you get into skiing?

I learned to ski at the age of 3, and after a while I started racing. Growing up I thought snowboarding was really cool too, so I traded my skis for a snowboard…but that only lasted for about two years [Laughs]. After that short stint, I decided to get back on skis because I found it a lot more fun. I started doing moguls but discovered that skiing in the park and doing my own thing was what I liked best.

What plans do you have for the upcoming season? Contest? Films? Travel?

The most important thing to me is finishing school. But, I also want to do a lot of filming this year with the German film company Aestivation! Plus, I really wanna do a lot of urban stuff! So that will take up most of my time and after all that I’ll see if I have enough time for contests!

What is your favorite part about skiing?

My favorite part is all the options you have! From riding pow to doing urban stuff it’s all fun. The most important thing is to have fun and do everything with style and stay creative.

Who is your favorite skier? Why?

One of my favorite skiers is Oskari Raittananen from Finland. He is doing a lot of creative urban stuff.

What is one thing you think is weird about America?

That everybody can carry guns. It’s weird and scares me. [Laughs]

Outside of skiing what is your favorite activity?

Riding my BMX and hanging out with friends.

Where is your favorite place to ski?

I’d have to say Keystone because of the sick park and Helsinki because of the urban rails!

Where is one place you want to ski that you haven’t been able to yet?

I don’t know, there are a lot of places I want to ski.

Shout outs?

Thanks to my parents and my sponsors for supporting me.
