Kick off spring with Arcade Belts’ fourth annual SKINNY Ski-A-Thon to benefit High Fives Foundation

Kick off spring with Arcade Belts’ fourth annual SKINNY Ski-A-Thon to benefit High Fives Foundation

Join Arcade Belt Co on March 31, 2014 at Squaw Valley, California for its fourth annual SKINNY Ski-A-Thon to benefit High Fives Foundation. The idea began as a casual fundraiser put on Arcade, but has since grown into one of the most highly anticipated events of the season, and raised over $30,000 for High Fives last year alone. The event works like this:

Participants attempt to ski as many runs as possible on Squaw’s legendary KT-22 chairlift, utilizing skis that are 70 mm or less underfoot. Participants can gather donations for each lap completed on Kt-22, as well as flat donations that will go towards High Fives.

Watch: Highlights from last year’s SKINNY Ski-A-Thon.

“Arcade Belt Co. is proud to be putting on the 4th annual Arcade Skinny Ski-A-Thon in benefit of High Fives Foundation,” says David Bronkie, Managing Director of Arcade Belt Co.  “It’s been a joy witnessing the immense growth and support the event has garnered year after year, and we look forward to the fun that will be had at this year’s event as the local Tahoe community comes together to show support for the athletes with life altering injuries.”
