The highly anticipated documentary about the late, great Shane McConkey will make its world premiere on Saturday, October 5 at Squaw Valley’s KT Base Bar. The world premiere (in fact, this is the second world premiere for McConkey, the first having gone down at the Tribeca Film Fest in April) kicks off the North American tour, with stops in over 20 cities across the United States and Canada. McConkey examines the life and legacy of one of the pioneers of freeskiing and ski-BASE jumping.
Additionally, the limited-edition book That Was Neat is now available for preorder. The book is for “anyone who appreciates the larger-than-life imprint that Shane McConkey left on the adventure world” and gives the reader “a glimpse into Shane’s universe.”
