Blue skies. Sunshine. 50-degrees. Costumes. Four pools. Creative features… The day couldn’t have set up better for the 2014 Red Bull Slope Soakers contest from Copper Mountain, Colorado, amid Copper’s Sunsation Weekend. A huge group of costumed skiers and riders showed up to throw down on the terrain park inspired pond skim.

Situated throughout the four pools were various rails and boxes, as well as a lollipop bonk and wall ride. Amid the tumbles and splashes, it was none other than “Bib #3,” who took home the victory on the ski side of things, earning a 2014/15 Copper Mountain season pass for his efforts. Prizes were also awarded for “best dressed,” best trick and best slam—the latter going to a man in a sit ski, who took easily one of the gnarliest slams we’ve seen. Thankfully, he suffered nothing more than a bruised thumb. The gallery above gives you a quick glimpse of the shenanigans. Be on the lookout for a video in the days to come, as well.

Big thanks to Copper Mountain and Red Bull for hosting yet another rowdy, action-packed contest.
