Yesterday the 2015 park ski test wrapped up at Copper Mountain with a gorgeous sunny day – ideal conditions for the testers to push the limits on each new ski.

A huge thanks is in order to anon. for supplying goggles and all-important helmets, Kicker for keeping our tunes flowing on and off the hill, and to Booster for preventing shin bang amongst our talented testers.

In the same way that we rate skis at our all-mountain ski test, utilizing our custom web app, our ski testers jump on a new pair of boards, spin a lap or two, and after developing a solid feel for the ski, rate that model on a scale of 1-5, in categories including carving, stability, swing weight, playfulness, versatility and overall stoke. Testers also have the option to include their own comments regarding each ski. The collective scores and comments serve as the foundation for selection of our Editor’s Picks in the annual Buyer’s Guide.

Take note: we’re hooking up one full, free week of summer camp at Woodward at Copper, plus a new GoPro HERO3 for the best ‘gram tagged #FreeskierFanFest. For entry details, click here.

A huge thanks to this years #FREESKIERFEST park test sponsors: anon, Kicker Audio, Booster Strap, Woodward, and of course Copper Mountain for taking care of our motley crew.
