Woodward at Copper‘s 19,400 square-foot Barn will re-open Saturday, June 15, complete with a half-million dollars worth of renovations. The Barn now sports an additional 4,000 square feet of multi-level platforms—there, you’ll find the latest in progression and teaching tools, all designed to help you take your shred skills to the next level.

As part of the renovation, all Snowflex surfaces were replaced with Skatelite—the common surface used on skateboard mini- and vert-ramps. How do skiers shred on that material, you ask? Easy: Via Woodward’s exclusive line of park skis on wheels. Shredding on wheels may sound tricky, but in fact, users all comment on the skis’ ease of use. Visiting pros agree: Training on Skatelite is more efficient than skiing on the Snowflex.

Additional renovations include a small booter into a new foam pit, allowing for the development of beginner park skills. Campers will also be able to take their new tricks to the snow via the Summer Central Terrain Park, packed with sweet jibs, jumps, bonks and more.

Also, as per usual—to keep the stoke level maxed out—rad brands like K2 Skis, Saga, Faction Skis, Icelantic Skis, Line Skis, Salomon Skis, Scott Skis, Smith, and Full Tilt will be hooking campers up with tons of free goodies.

And we haven’t even gotten to the best part…

To celebrate the renovation, Woodward is offering Freeskier fans a one-time offer to save big bucks on weeks #2-6 when Camp is booked by June 21, 2013.
