Freeskier’s 2015 all-mountain ski test underway in Aspen; see photos here

March 3rd, 2014 by

Yesterday, the talented constituents of our annual all-mountain ski test at Aspen Mountain awoke to six inches of fresh snow blanketing Ajax. As a result, all of next year’s powder skis were hauled into our testing corral, and our testers embarked on a day full of top to bottom powder laps beneath the Silver Queen gondola. Everything, it seemed, was skiing well yesterday – from Walsh’s to The Dumps, and everywhere in between. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite photos from day 1 of #FreeskierFest, and there are plenty more coming soon.

For everything #FreeskierFest related, be sure to follow the #FreeskierFest hashtag on both Instagram and Twitter. To see the collection of #FreeskierFest Instagram shots from the week so far, click here. Below is just one example of how we’re putting next year’s skis to the test, while having some fun at the same time.

Unfortunately, not all of our readers and fans can be a part of the annual #FreeskierFest in Aspen. So, to get you, our fans, involved, we want you to post some banger Instagram shots of you getting rad in the mountains and use the hashtag #FreeskierFanFest. Each day throughout the test we’ll pick a finalist, with the grand prize winner being selected at the end of the week. The prize? A pair of Pabst Blue Ribbon branded NAS skis from Lib Tech.

For now, enjoy our photos from the test, and stay tuned for more action from Aspen, including the World Flip Cup Championships, product reviews on all the new gear, videos with the brands, backflip contests, and of course, partying.
