Fantasy Freeride League is back for 2012/13 – Sign up now

The Fantasy Freeride League presented by the Assocation of Freeskiing Professionals has returned for yet another glorious year of fantasy pipe and park ski competition. With just over two weeks before the first event of the Fantasy season (Dew Tour in Breck, Dec. 13), it’s time to sign up, make a league, invite your friends to play and draft a team. Have an iPhone? Get the app.

This season’s FFL comes ripe with all sorts of new features, the biggest of which is the addition of leagues. Now you can create a private league, invite your friends, and compete with a smaller group. Join or create as many leagues as you want with different groups of friends. (Though you only select one team of skiers to compete in all leagues.)

It’s now easier than ever to buy and sell athletes, and you now have more information at your fingertips: You can now see, at a glance, who’s hurt, who’s on the way back from injury and who’s ready to go. As an added bonus, you can also see what percentage of people own each skier so you can decide if you want to take a risk on a little-owned skier, or follow the herd.

Trading is open now, so head over to fantasyfreeride.com, log in with your Facebook account and get playing. For more information about how to play, check out the help section.

Stay up to date by following @FantasyFreeride on Twitter and liking Fantasy Freeride League on Facebook. And get the iphone app for the best mobile experience.

May the best man or woman win.
