These days, not all sweatpants are made the same. These essential garments (seriously, who doesn’t love sweatpants?) have evolved from the days of heavyweight cotton and unflattering cuts to pants that are stylish and feature a variety of fits and materials. There are many to love and recently I’ve been loving one pair in particular: Under Armour’s UA City Hopper Jogger pants. I’ve been loving them so much, in fact, that it’s taking all of my self control to not wear them 24/7. I basically live in them as often as is socially acceptable. They’re stylish, functional and incredibly soft—everything you could ever ask for in a pair of sweats.

The UA City Hopper Joggers in all their glory.

When I say I live in these pants, I mean I’ve been wearing them while I cook, do work, go to the grocery store, camp, sleep and more. The City Hopper Jogger pants aren’t your old-school sweatpants. They have a modern, sporty style that I appreciate; when I wear them I don’t feel quite as grubby as if I were wearing my old college sweats. These beauties boast a loose fit up top (but not too loose, thanks to a drawcord), a straight leg and cuffed hem at the bottom which gives some shape. To top it off, they also have spacious pockets that are perfect for a phone, wallet, keys, etc. These large pockets are a coveted feature since I dislike carrying a purse. People have varying opinions about wearing sweatpants in public and I say, “you do you,” but if you are someone who swears by sweats, these need to be on your radar.

Aside from the sleek cut, the UA City Hopper Jogger pants are easily the most comfortable sweatpants I’ve ever worn. Made with Under Armour’s UA StudioLux fabric, which is super-soft and has four-way stretch, wearing them feels like wrapping your legs in a cloud. The fabric is also quick-drying and wicks sweat, keeping you comfortable and dry even if you’re wearing them on the way home from the grueling session gym. (2017-18 ski season training starts now, people.)

Overall, the UA City Hopper Joggers are a casual, incredibly comfortable pant to wear as you go about your day-to-day activities. The modern fit and super soft material are sure to make you want to wear them non-stop, too. —Sarah Sherman, Social Media Coordinator
