Press release: Salt Lake City-based headwear manufacturer announces Mount Snow, VT's Devin Logan to its athlete roster for the 2011/2012 season.
Discrete Sport, LLC, a rider owned and conceived headwear brand in the winter sport industry, is proud to announce the addition of Devin Logan to their athlete program. Equipped with a bolstering bag of tricks, he is ready to showcase Discrete and make a solid addition to the athlete team.
Discrete has committed to sponsor Dane because in their eyes there is nobody else out there consistently getting podiums internationally in Slopestyle and Halfpipe comps. Making the US Freeskiing for both events she is looking for podiums in Sochi in 2014. This last season at 18 years of age she got Second in both events at the Snow Basin Dew Tour. Also, she got herself a third place at her first European X-Games in Halfpipe. This summer she competed in the New Zealand Open and the New Zealand Winter Games getting first in 4 out of 5 events.
“I created and built awareness for Discrete by sponsoring amazing athletes,” said Julian Carr, Discrete Owner and professional skier. “Dane fits our program so well, it’s refreshing to know there is a kid out there with so much talent and an eagerness to work hard – that’s our formula.”
Devin will be Spend majority of her time in Park City training at the COE. While not in Utah she will be traveling around to all the grand prix, Dew Tours, X-games, and whatever else comes her way.
