Breckenridge Opening Weekend: Triple Jump Line Open

Breckenridge Opening Weekend: Triple Jump Line Open

Breckenridge, CO, is opening Friday, November 12th, with a triple jump line. Yes you heard correctly, three jumps. Breck is living up to its reputation of having one of the best terrain parks in the world.

And if a jump line wasn’t enough for you, camp in the car to be one of the first 1,000 people on the mountain and receive free breakfast! Opening day festivities also include free parking (cheers to Vail Resorts for this one) and grand openings of the Gold Runner Coaster and the T-Bar, which will host its first ever apres party.

Breck will be opening 147 acres of lift served terrain via the Colorado SuperChair, 5 Chair, Rip’s Ride, Trygve’s Platter and one conveyer lift. Runs will include Springmeier, Spruce, Swinger, Crescendo as well as the jump line in Park Lane.

It’s also official that later in the morning ski patrol will be dropping the ropes and opening 117 acres of hike-to terrain in the Contest Bowl and Horseshoe Bowl. That is a total of 264 acres. Plenty of terrain for everyone.

Call in sick, skip class or just tell your boss to f$%# off. Whatever you do, get to Breck Friday for opening day. First chair is at 9am!
