Award-winning Legs of Steel releases teaser for latest project, “Same Difference”

Taking turns at mach speed down an icy slalom course, floating on the edge of a powdery spine in Alaska, flying 40-feet into the air off the biggest jump in the terrain park—each of these niche aspects of skiing demand a different kind of focus and talent when it comes time to execute. Award-winning production company Legs of Steel
is attempting to rekindle the similarities between these styles of skiing in its 7th feature-film, “Same Difference.”

Shot and directed by Mathias Kögel and Michael Haunschmidt, a press release announcing the film’s debut describes the movie as, “a film about speed, turns, jumps miliseconds, precision, ups and downs, frustration and relief…that will draw into the seemingly divided worlds that play out within some of skiing’s most unique and exciting disciplines.”

Featuring an array of talented athletes, including alpine racer Felix Neureuther, big mountain shredders Fabian Lentsch, Sam Smoothy and Sven Kueenle, terrain park wizards Paddy Graham, Lukas Joas and more, the movie is sure to excite audiences who follow all aspects of the sport. The teaser here is short, showing only snippets of action—but we’ll let the anticipation build until the film is released this fall.
