‪Salomon Freeski TV S5 E13: Josh Dueck lands first ever sit ski backflip

In our November story, I’m Possible: Josh Dueck is transforming the impossible, we highlighted Josh Dueck and Mike Douglas' film, The Freedom Chair, as it made waves within the greater skiing community. Freedom Chair recounts the story of Josh getting back into the mountains after a major ski accident. An incredibly inspirational story, The Freedom Chair is not to be missed.

In said story Dueck noted, “It was an invert that took me down and I want to stomp what took me out... I just want to get 'er done.” And today, we're excited to say that Dueck indeed "got 'er done," stomping the first ever sit ski backflip on February 3, 2012. The feat is showcased in the latest edition of Salomon Freeski TV. Enjoy.

From SFTV:

Back in 2004, a flip on skis gone tragically wrong broke Josh Dueck's back and left him as a T11—full paraplegic. For the past 8 years one of his dreams has been to do a flip on snow again. On February 3, 2012, Josh became the first person to perform a backflip on snow in a sit ski!
