TREW transitions through the seasons with a brand-new product line

Late spring is never easy; snow is melting, skiing is ending and it’s time for us all to play the waiting game until winter makes its return. But TREW—a style-inspired, performance outdoor company—has plans to make that waiting game a little bit easier with the debut of its first-ever multi-sport, multi-product spring line. Within the line are lightweight rain jackets, packable wind shirts, Merino wool T-shirts and more.

For the past seven years, TREW has produced top-notch winter products out of Hood River, Oregon. Much of the company’s focus has been on the backcountry ski and snowboard markets, but they’ve appropriately recognized that the fun doesn’t stop when winter ends, and that customers are looking for more great gear to use in their off-snow endeavors.

“The craftsmanship, material choice and attention to detail are second to none,” says TREW Founder Tripp Frey. “We are excited to begin to engage the broader outdoor market with products that serve our loyal customers 12 months a year.”

Check out a few of the products from the spring line below:

BeWildMens

The men’s BeWild Rain Jacket from TREW’s spring line, currently going for $229.

Weighing in at just 74 grams (0.16 pounds), the BeWild Rain Jacket is a multi-purpose piece built for all sorts of outdoor activities. Whether you’re biking, hiking or just kickin’ it, this is TREW’s “year-round, go-to rain jacket and active shell.” (Comes in both men’s and women’s styles.)

TREW-Up-Jacket-Womens

The women’s Up Jacket Wind Shirt is wind repellant, rain repellant and easily packable, at $119.

TREW says the Up Jacket Wind Shirt might be the most versatile garment they’ve ever made, and we can’t argue with that; it’s a sleek, super-light nylon rip-stop piece that looks to be ideal for tackling spring’s varying weather. (Comes in both men’s and women’s styles.)

TREW-Superlight-NuYarn-Merino-Pocket-T

The men’s Superlight NuYarn Merino Pocket T—priced at $59—is a stylish addition to any wardrobe.

The Superlight NuYarn Merino Pocket T is a simple, yet attractive and functional shirt intended to be worn in any conditions. TREW says the NuYarn Merino knit is “stretchier, stronger and quicker-drying that any other Merinos on the market.” (Comes in both men’s and women’s styles.)

What’s new at TREW?

TREW, Inc., a style-inspired, performance outdoor company, has released the first spring collection in the company’s seven-year history. New products include the men’s and women’s BeWild Rain Jacket and the Up Jacket Wind Shirt which are exclusively available at TREWGear.com.

TREW was founded in Hood River, OR, renowned for outdoor adventure as well as its variable weather conditions. Inspiration for new product design is never lacking in this mecca for skiers and riders, mountain bikers, runners, wind and kite-surfers. For Spring 16, TREW has designed a new collection of innovative products that live up to the standards of the Hood River lifestyle and mark TREW’s shift from a winter-only brand into an outdoor company with year-round offerings.

In 2015, TREW moved to a direct-to-consumer business model to be able to deliver market-leading product and improve the speed-to-market of new materials and technologies, while maintaining an even higher level of transparency and customer engagement.
