What’s coming down the pipe for the iF3 world tour
The iF3 World Tour continues this weekend, as pro skiers, fans and industry people from around the world will invade Annecy, France from Friday September 27 through Sunday September 29. The festivities kick off at 4 p.m. local time with the screening of Earthshine from Life Steeze Media, All Damn Day from 4bi9 Media, and Time from PVS Company. At 6:15 p.m. local time, Line Traveling Circus Episode 5.5, The Last Skiurai, will be screened, followed by Head Straight from Chaoz Productions, and Into The Mind from Sherpas Cinema. The night will be capped off with the 2013 iF3 Awards ceremony at the Cinema Décavision in Annecy. For the rest of the iF3 Annecy event schedule, click here.
Sean Pettit and Luke Van Valin have already gotten the party started in Annecy:
The fun doesn’t stop in France; on October 1, iF3 will take over Innsbruck, Austria until October 5. Highlights from Innsbruck will include a rail jam put on by downdays.eu on Thursday October 3, the Night of Rock History presented by Legs of Steel on Friday October 4, and of course, the plethora of film screenings scattered throughout the festival. From there, the tour heads to Whistler, BC for the first time ever on October 11 and 12. Eight of this year’s best ski films, along with three webisodes, will be screened at Millenium Place in the Whistler Village. Expect to see plenty of Sean Pettit, as iF3 makes its first appearance at the pro skier’s hometown, especially at the Red Bull/K2 Sean Pettit Rocker Party, held at Garfinkel’s on Saturday night.
