This just in: Chris Benchetler’s spring camp has been cancelled. Mammoth Mountain released the following statement:

This letter is to inform each of you that Mammoth Mountain has regretfully cancelled the Chris Benchetler Ski Camp scheduled for May 24-26. Due to a less-than-average snow year and warm temperatures we will be unable to provide a top notch experience for potential participants. While guests have expressed interest in this great ski camp product, many guests are looking for alternate, mid-winter dates to ski with a world-class athlete, like Chris. Both Mammoth Mountain and Chris Benchetler value your support and are eager to work with you for future projects and camps. In the coming weeks the Marketing and Operations teams at Mammoth Mountain will be working closely with Chris to select camp dates for the 2015 Winter Season. We anticipate opening camp registration and beginning promotion in early December 2014.

Again, thank you for your support. We look forward to producing a five-star Ski Camp in 2015.
