Not many skis score well in both the playfulness and stability categories, but the wizards at Völkl have created just that combination in the Kiku. (Most skis that score well in stability are extra stiff, taking away from the playfulness.) “The Kiku has rock-solid stability, but it’s still really easy to move around,” commented a tester. “It’s light and poppy as hell,” added another. The liveliness of the Kiku makes it a treat to take out on both hardpack and powder days, especially for more advanced women looking to charge on bigger terrain.
