At 120 mm underfoot, the Squad 7 is the beefed up version of the Super 7 from Rossignol. Unlike the rest of the 7 series, it features a poplar wood core making for a solid, hard-charging plank. Gradual tip rocker as well as a tapered and rockered tail bring control and ease of steering at speed. This makes the Squad 7 perfect for schmearing turns in wide-open powder fields, as evidenced by a score of 4.20 in the float category. One tester thought the Squad 7 was the whole package, noting, “There’s not much I can say that’s wrong with this ski.”
