Part of Rossignol’s 7 series, an evolution of the ever-popular S series, the Saffron scored well across the board with our testers. Featuring Powder Turn Rocker, it has 50-percent camber underfoot with rocker in the tip and tail, providing great buoyancy and agility while remaining stable. Testers loved the feel, saying, “Rocker gives it great float, and it skis switch very playfully.” Throw in a lightweight paulownia wood core along with a centered sidecut for easy maneuverability, and it’s hard not to have fun on these boards.
