The NAS Powder’s reCURVE (rocker/camber/rocker) profile provides solid float in the deep stuff and edge hold on the hardpack. Speaking of edge hold, the skis feature Magne-Traction technology, a serrated-like edge with multiple contact points. Whether you’re shredding ice, groomers, crud or pow, this ski tears it up. Sandwich sidewall construction and a low swing weight translate to high-energy output by the ski. “This thing is lots of fun to carve on,” explained one tester. “It’s a bit stiff, but it’s fast as hell, is quick edge to edge and is nimble.” The ski also features a bio-plastic topsheet made from beans.
