Like its counterpart, this women’s-specific version of the JJ utilizes Armada’s patented EST Freeride Rocker technology to slay deep snow. The VJJ’s 115 mm waist guarantees forgiving float, while traditional camber and sidecut underfoot let you rip hardpack to score one last lap. The AR50 sidewalls help with edge hold while minimizing swing weight (Petite skiers, you’ll enjoy easier turn initiation and better control). A hybrid UltraLight core packs prime strength-to-weight ratio, which testers appreciated. “If you think all rocker is the same, try the VJJs on a deep day—you’ll never go back,” said one tester.
