Even before our testers knew this ski was in the crossover category, they were touting how great it would be both in and out of the park, commenting mostly about the playfulness that is partly derived from the early rise. Solid maple underfoot gives way to lightweight aspen in the tip and tail, making it “easy to throw around,” as one of our testers put it. Swing weight and tip flap are further reduced by a thick core and sidewalls that are milled down toward the fore and aft of the ski.
