The 98 is the only ski in Kästle’s MX line that implements early rise in the tip, allowing these skis to dominate just about any snow surface the mountain throws at them. One tester described the Kästle MX98 as a “great, traditional ski that holds well on hardpack but is easy to turn in the bumps and pow.” The MX98 scored a whopping 4.73 in the carving category, thanks to camber underfoot and a flat tail in the back, ideal for powering through turns. “Brings me back to my race days,” remarked one tester. “Turns so aggressively.”
